F Mac Bond CPA Mac Bond has been a CPA for over 25 years. Born and reared in Winston-Salem, NC, Mac attended Mercer University receiving a BS degree in Mathematics and began his adult work experience teaching high school math in Western Georgia. He soon realized that his passion was actually working with adults and businesses, so he returned to Winston-Salem to pursue a BS degree in Accounting from UNC Greensboro.
After graduation, Mac worked for several CPA firms specializing in corporate accounting, auditing and tax preparation. He also became network administrator for the firms he worked for becoming skilled in technology needs of small businesses. With his skill set in place, he opened his own firm in 2006 with a specialized focus on the accounting and business management needs of small businesses.
Mac and his wife Terri have lived in Davie County for the last 15 years and have two daughters still at home, Katie and Sarah. He is an avid fly fisherman and conservationist and can be found in the trout streams of Western NC whenever possible. He is a former Board Member of the NC Wildlife Federation and NC Trout Unlimited as well as having served as a volunteer coordinator for handicapped access trout fishing and the reintroduction of native trout in the Southeast. His conservation efforts brought him an honored NC Governor’s Conservation Achievement Award.

Vernard Bond, CPA, CDFA™ Vern Bond is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and has a Masters degree in Administration from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA)™ designation is conferred by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™ (IDFA)™ and is the most established and recognized designation in financial planning for divorce. To become a CDFA™, a candidate must complete four exams based on curriculum provided by the Institute, be in good standing with the Institute, and complete twenty hours of continuing education every two years.
Vern is also a level I member of the Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals, an organization dedicated to help those going through divorce to do so with minimal conflict and without expensive litigation.
Vern has completed a program of study in Forensic Accounting under the auspices of the AICPA (the American Institute of CPA’s). He holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. He is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta international honor society for academic achievement in accounting.
He is certified by the Colorado State Board of Accountancy and is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He has held a variety of positions in government, manufacturing, and the insurance business. He is currently practicing public accounting: focusing on small business taxation, real estate taxation, and financial issues related to divorce.
Vern has two grown sons, two grandsons, and currently splits time between Clemmons, North Carolina, Vail, Colorado, and Littleton, Colorado where he lives with wife Barbara, Silky terrier Kiwi, and Cairn terror Bruce.
